Boston Twestival

On what would have Abe Lincoln’s birthday, many members of Boston’s Twitterati are hosting a Twestival to raise money and awareness for Charity Water, an nonprofit that assists people in developing nations with having access to clean water.  Tickets are $25.oo each. 

Twestival is not just a local event.  Several cities across the world have organized this effort to harness the growing power of online social networking tools to raise money for nonprofits and NGOs.
